Eric joined Knox Capital Solutions (KCS) back in May 2018 as Commercial Finance Manager. Based in Manchester, he is an experienced Commercial Banking Manager and has spent the last 18 years undertaking a number of senior management roles within HSBC, RBS and most recently the Bank of China’s Commercial and Corporate Banking team. Eric is multilingual and speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
He has an in-depth knowledge of international trade, and has helped many businesses to fulfil their growth targets with the help of assets based lending (invoice discount) and structured trade finance products. An example of a case he recently completed was a credit facility for a US registered trading business.
Eric also has extensive experience in property lending, helping single or serial investors to acquire their assets. Using his knowledge and expertise, Eric assists clients with finding the right funding to meet their individual needs from our panel of carefully selected lenders. He continually provides exceptional customer service and since joining KCS he has received multiple calls from previous clients requesting his services for all their future lending requirements.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys motorsports, especially MotoGP and Formula 1. His love of motorbikes has seen him acquire three different models since passing his test a few years ago, and his favourite bike is the Yamaha R6. Weather permitting, you’re guaranteed to find him cruising on the Snake Pass between Glossop and Sheffield!
Aside from motorsports, Eric also has a passion for music and enjoys listening to a wide variety of musical genres through his valve amplifier, which he describes as “like listening to a live band playing in front of you”.
But getting back to business, we are delighted Eric has joined the team. He has brought with him a raft of banking industry knowledge and expertise, along with strong relationship management and negotiation skills, all of which are fully utilised within his role at KCS to ensure that each case is completed in a timely and efficient manner and to the satisfaction of each and every client.
